Cardiopulmonary Risk Matrix

The Cardiopulmonary Risk Matrix is a structured clinical framework to support the recognition and management of Cardiopulmonary Risk in patients with COPD. It was developed by a UK based multidisciplinary taskforce of respiratory and cardiology specialists across primary and secondary care, following a Delphi consensus study of healthcare professionals with an interest in COPD care. Through integration into clinical practice, this matrix will enable a comprehensive, guideline based approach to help improve cardiopulmonary outcomes for COPD patients.
