ARNS Research funding opportunity

We are proud to continue our mission of championing excellence in respiratory nursing practice and shaping the future of respiratory health policy.

As part of our commitment to advancing the specialty, we are inviting ARNS members to apply for funding to support small-scale research projects .

Purpose of the Funding

This funding aims to:

• Support innovative, practice-based research led by ARNS members.
• Encourage exploration of emerging issues in respiratory care.
• Promote evidence-based improvements in outcomes for people living with respiratory conditions.
• Build research capacity within the respiratory nursing community.

Applications should align with the research priorities outlined in the ARNS research strategy.

Eligibility

• Lead applicant must be a current ARNS member (full or associate) for at least 6 months
• One application per year per applicant
• Preference may go to first-time applicants

Closing date of Tuesday 30^th September 2025. Monies awarded by Friday 31^st October 2025. Please submit your application to ARNS Secretariat at info@arns.co.uk.
