Conference 2023 Awards – Nominations open!
At ARNS we are a welcoming, inclusive organisation and acknowledge the importance of supporting each other, especially our newer team members, including our associate members. Part of this is identifying those who go ‘over and above’ their day-to-day role. Do you know of an individual or team that deserves recognition for their contribution to respiratory care? They might work in any sector involved with the delivery and or enhancement of respiratory care in any setting. This would include the NHS, including primary, community and secondary care, private or voluntary organisations or higher education/research departments.
What is important is that you want to recognise this person or team, through an award nomination, and reward them for going that extra mile to improve the lives of people with respiratory disease.
We have two categories:
- Outstanding contribution to respiratory patient care – this award can be nominated by any person and will be voted on by the ARNS board.
- Respiratory excellence – this award can be nominated by any person and will be judged by a patient panel. The finalists will be asked to present for 5 minutes with 5 minutes Q&A at the ARNS annual conference on Thursday 11th May 2023. After the finalists have presented, the delegates will vote for the winner, and this will be announced at the Gala dinner that evening.
Please click the button below to find out more, and to put forward your nomination. The deadline for nominations is 19th March 2023. Judging will take place between 20th – 30th March 2023, with the shortlist notification being announced on 31st March 2023.
