Despite the political message saying ‘Our NHS is broken, but not beaten. Together we can fix it’, the ARNS Board do not believe the NHS is broken and would like to reassure our members that the NHS may have areas which need improvement, but it is far from broken and has many areas of excellence that should be celebrated. As Respiratory nurses, we were paramount during the pandemic and continue to rebuild and strive to provide the best quality service we can maintaining the ethos of the NHS.
ARNS urges all ARNS members, Respiratory nurses and colleagues to take the time to complete the Change NHS – Help Build an NHS Fit for the Future Survey – Change NHS. However, this is a conversation for everyone so please do share this with your colleagues.
The NHS has been there for us for over 76 years. But to make sure the NHS is here for the next 76 years, doing all it can to support the health of everyone, we need your help.
We want to have the biggest ever conversation about the future of the NHS.
It doesn’t matter whether you have a lot or a little to say. Your views, experiences and ideas will shape a new 10 Year Health Plan for England.
