NEW ARNS Membership system

You are here: Home / News / NEW ARNS Membership system

posted on February 11, 2021

Over the years, the benefits ARNS members receive has increased exponentially. Our members have never been more important to us and we strive to represent you and give your voice a national platform.  We are continuing to work with national organisations, advise on guideline developments, promote nursing research and to develop new ways of working with our sponsors and members.

ARNS was founded in conjunction with the help of a pharmaceutical company and ARNS has been dependent on this financial resource ever since. As times have changed and purse strings have become tighter, it has become increasingly more difficult to secure funding from this financial source.

As a result, we have made the decision to implement a charge for our membership.  The membership categories will be ‘Full Membership’, which is £25 annually and ‘Associate and International Membership’, which is £20 annually.  The Full Membership is for respiratory nurses and the Associate is for the valued Allied Health Professionals (AHPs).

The new membership system will enable you to manage your membership fully through your account online.

Membership types

Full Membership – £25/year

For Respiratory nurses within the United Kingdom and Channel Islands

Associate and International Membership – £20/year

For Allied Health Professionals and those outside of the United Kingdom and Channel Islands
