Student Nurse subsidised delegate places available at ARNS conference

Following on from the very successful invite to the ARNS 2018 Annual Conference, ARNS is again offering 2 student nurses the opportunity to attend its annual conference, to be held on 10th and 11th May  2019 at Coldra Court, Newport for just £50 for a full delegate place.

We welcomed 2 student nurses to conference in 2018, Evie Poole and Jo Hammond to conference.  Emma Vincent, ARNS Board member, mentored Jo and Evie throughout the conference.

Evie Poole, student nurse at Worcester University, shared her experience of attending conference in an article which was published in the Nursing Times, May 2018, Respiratory Zone https://www.nursingtimes.net/clinical-archive/respiratory.    Evie said

“I gained an interest in nursing people with respiratory conditions during an amazing eight-week general practice nursing placement in November last year. As a second-year student nurse ready to embark on my fourth placement in an acute respiratory ward, I was thrilled to be pointed in the direction of the ARNS 2018 conference.

To say I was well looked after over the three days at ARNS would be an understatement. Emma Vincent was incredible in welcoming me and introducing me to so many inspirational people and keeping me in-the-know with anything I wasn’t sure on”.  Read the full article here
