Nursing Times has unveiled the names of the nurses and midwives judged to be the profession’s most inspirational leaders.
And we all here at ARNS are very proud to be able to say that our former Chair, Rebecca Sherrington, who was chosen for her inspirational work in the field of respiratory nursing.
Nursing Times Leaders is a brand new initiative to celebrate nurses and midwives who have been pioneers, entrepreneurs and inspirational role models to their profession. An event to celebrate the inaugural Nursing Times Leaders list was also held in London.
Becky said “I feel very proud that respiratory nursing was recognised on the 2015 Nursing Times Leaders List. Over the past few years I have worked hard to ensure Respiratory Nurses voice is heard at a national level. I also have worked hard with the executive ARNS committee to ensure that ARNS grew and continued to influence nursing practice. I’m no different from all the ARNS members and those I work with, and so feel humbled by being on the list, next to some amazing nurses.”
A HUGE well done from everyone here at ARNS and we are sure that our ARNS community would like to say the same.
